Social Activities

Aliança is a socially involved company, investing in the community through Brazilian incentivisation laws such as the Fundo Municipal da Criança e do Adolescente – FUMCAD (Children and Youth Municipal Fund), Lei do Esporte (Sports Law), and Lei Rouanet (Rouanet Law).

In the area of culture and focused on society, the company works with long-lasting partnerships such as with:

• Associação Pró-Cultura e Arte Ivoti – ASCARTE, founded in 2003, in Rio Grande do Sul, to encourage the development and improvement of socio-cultural values in all areas of the Arts, through music, dance, theatre, and art.

• Teatro Escola Bolshoi (Bolshoi Theatre School), located in Joinville, Santa Catarina. This is the only branch of the Russian dance company in the world. It is a non-profit institution maintained through support from companies and individuals who value and contribute to training young talent.

The company also contributes with educational projects developed in partnership with the Labor Associação Educacional, which trains public school teachers in the Baixada Santista, São Paulo and also supports the day-care centres of the Instituto Anglicano de São Paulo (São Paulo Anglican Institute).

Aliança employees also develop social projects. They mobilize in various regions to help institutions located near the company's offices.

In addition to partnerships, Aliança develops specific community projects. For example, the company contributed to the reconstruction of the Anilda Batista day-care centre, which was destroyed by the 2008 floods that hit the city of Blumenau, Santa Catarina.
